The poet Zia Khan, with over 27 years in the corporate sector in the area of sales and marketing, has been engaged with the craft of writing from the age of 18. In a style that marks the influence of the ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle and Europeanexistentialists, Albert Camus and Jean Paul Sartre, the author delves into Karma, Past Life, the Purpose of Life, Music, Wealth etc. in his poems. Her work on domestic violence and child marriage has been recognised through the "Nari Shakti Puraskar" awarded by the President of India. He has two children. His son, Faiz Khan is a singer, song-writer, composer and producer of English music, while he continues to study journalism. His daughter Samaah Zai is still in school and a budding artist in her own right.
