Author Description

Silva is a young girl desperately longing for a better life. She's lived her entire life with witches but, in her heart, Silva knows she doesn’t belong with them. One morning, Silva meets a wise, old woman who sees beyond her ragged appearance. The old woman points Silva to the path that leads to a village at the bottom of the mountain—maybe there she can start a new life. As Silva begins her journey, she encounters many people who are facing challenges. When she stops to help them, they gratefully return the favour. With each challenge, Silva learns more about where she belongs, as well as who she truly is.
