This proceedings would be of interest to scientists and researchers in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology. The symposium covered a large spectrum of nanoscience and nanotechnology, including: (a) nanomaterials including nanoparticles, nanocrystals, nanotubes, nanowires, and nanoporous media, (b) bio nanotechnology and nano-medicine, (c) Nanoelectronics, nano-magnetics and quantum computing, (d) nano-optics and plasmonics, (e) computational nanoscience & nanotechnology (modeling and simulation), (f) sustainability and nano-manufacturing, (g) nanotechnologies in health and environment, as well as (h) nanotechnology for enhanced oil recovery.
