Author Description

These two volumes present the full printed text, with searchable CD-ROM, of 159 papers presented at the 24th International Symposium of Ballistics, held in New Orleans, USA, in September, 2008, and sponsored by the National Defense Industrial Association NDIA) along with the International Ballistics Committee. These books reflect the purpose of the symposium, namely, to present recent research from around the world on ballistics as it pertains to the design and configuration of a variety of weapons and the analysis of the damage effects of many types of projectiles.
