Author Description

A complete non-fiction literacy program that will help children develop an understanding of all non-fiction text types. Each stage provides simple to complex cross-curricular content focusing upon Science, the Social Sciences and the Arts. At each stage 7 text types are covered: Report; Explanation; Recount/Biography; Procedure; Persuasive; Recount; Reference. Each book has a suggested level and an information box which outlines the stage, genre, key learning area, comprehension skills, and text features.
