Author Description

Training materials collected an anthology of English literature aimed specifically at students of English Literature I and English Literature II. This is a first look at the literature produced in different historical periods from the Anglo-Saxon England to the twentieth century, considering always the literary knowledge of students and the special importance of some of the achievements in the context in which they were inserted. The selection of literary texts appears complemented by introductions to the specific historical and cultural contexts, a glossary of literary terms, a chronology of events relevant to each period, plus a bibliography.
