Back at the chalkface after many years in the ivory tower (as an Inspector-Adviser), the author was disappointed to find that the current generation of English text books, though superbly produced in full colour, provide little support for basic (and not so basic) English language skills. This book is the result. It is a collection of differentiated worksheets which cover a wide range of skills, from very basic, such as alphabetical order, to quite complex skills, such as sentence building. It also includes such useful things as spelling lists, checklists, and lists of essay titles.
