The Barista’s Brewing Logbook allows you to record each brew of a particular coffee and store the parameters so you can make it as repeatable as possible. This is particularly useful when dialling in so you can record your dose, yield, time and much more. This book is designed to help you record each of your brews in a simple way. It allows you to quickly record the parameters of your brew when dialling in or when playing around with different variables. Each page has a small table to record the information about the coffee you are using including Coffee name, Origin, Process and Roast Date. The table below has space for 9 brews which track the following parameters: Brew Method, Grind Setting, Dose, Brew Ratio/Water In, Yield, Brew Time and Brew Notes. At the bottom of the page is a space for some final notes on the coffee once you have finished it or finished dialling it in. It is up to you! There is an index at the front of the book which allows you to write the name of the coffee on the corresponding page. This allows for easy reference if you get the same coffee again and need access to the information. This version has been expanded to add more variables, the table now spans two pages which allows for an expanded notes section as well.
