This report presents research findings conducted to investigate data collection systems and referral pathways for Aboriginal youth suicide and suicide attempts in Central Australia. 22 participants from across a range of services were interviewed about the current situation of capturing suicide attempt data and referral pathways. It confirmed a need for the development of a coordinated data collection system and suggested a referral pathway that allows for information sharing between services and ensuring safe management of Aboriginal youth who are at risk of suicide.
