Outlines collaborative research project undertaken by Edith Cowan University, Education Department of Western Australia and Aboriginal and Islander Education Workers from six Western Australian schools (data was also provided by nine other schools); includes information on understanidng Aboriginal English written from a holistic Indigenous perspective; outlines current curriculum framework in Western Australia and how information from research project can be included.
