This paper presents key findings for policy and practice from a study exploring effective approaches for working with Aboriginal women who have experienced domestic and family violence in remote and regional Australia. The study drew on learnings from three specialist services and the views of Aboriginal women connected with these services as clients, workers, or community members, and aimed to improve the evidence base in this sector by documenting knowledge about core frontline practices, Aboriginal women's perspectives and priorities on delivery and outcomes, integrating of these perspectives into service practice and delivery, and useful methods and resources for regional and remote services that work with Aboriginal women experiencing domestic and family violence.
