Presents counts for Indigenous Australians from the 2001 Census, accompanied by information on data quality to help interpret the data. Population estimates of the Indigenous population based on the 2001 Census are also included. Census counts of the Indigenous Australian population are also provided for small areas (Indigenous Areas and Locations) and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission regions.
