4000 haiku written as a detailed recording of a 97 year-old's life who could be perceived as a genius madman, Col. John W. Price, PhD. Dr. Price was a humanities professor, had a PhD in political science and was a decorated War II veteran. Dr. Price was a Full Bird Colonel of Amy with 6 Battle Stars and awarded the French Légion d'Honneur Medal. He wrote these haiku over a period of 30 years as a form of thought-provoking intellectual exercise of the mind.
