Retirement should be easy for Pittsburgh homicide detective, Tommy "Two Shoes," but mysteries somehow seem find him. Family and close friends come to him with problems that quickly become his. He and his newlywed wife, Cora decide they might as well get paid for solving problems, embarking on a new career of private investigation. While solving his own family's problems, he uncovers dangers in the normally quiet town of Elkins West Virginia that has him returning time after time.
