The book contains two parts. The first part deals with the philosophy of language as the analysis of philosophical or religious concepts through the analysis of language. The second part deals with the philosophy of language as the study of the nature of language through philosophical arguments. In the first part, the author argues that the positivist philosophy of language is not enough to understand the language used in art and religion; and he tries to give the theory of meaning for understanding this kind of language. In the second part, the author offers the Buddhist theory of language to point out that in Buddhist perspective language has some limitation and how to overcome it.
