A third year secondary school course in mathematics for students of average and above average ability. This is the third in a five volume series which has been revised to meet the requirements of the National Curriculum Programmes of Study and the GCSE examinations. The material is presented in topics, each including an introductory discussion, common core, reinforcement, development and extension. This structure enables teachers to optimise progress for individuals in the teaching group. Revision is featured throughout with exercises, revision summaries and weekly papers. Activities include projects, practical work and investigations. The pupils' book is accompanied by a teachers' resource book.
