A Survey aims to produce students who can think like economists-even 10 years after completing the course. Written primarily for the one-term, all-inclusive Principles of Economics course or the one-quarter Principles course that covers either microeconomics or macroeconomics, this text focuses on the widespread application of the most basic tools of economic analysis-supply and demand-in the hope that students will carry that analytical framework forward.
