The present volume deals with the current status of sociology in less developed countries of Asia. The nations discussed in this book are both democratic and communist republics. Each author in this volume focuses on the past development of sociology, and he also ientifies current trends in his Asian country.The authors also attempt to point out that these recent developments in Asian sociology of the future in developing countries of Africs and Latin America.
