Reviews the basic theory of electrostatics and shows how to use mathematical methods and derived numerical techniques to solve partial differential equations. Particular attention is given to the Vormulation of numerical techniques aimed at solving simple two-dimensional problems and full three-dimensional problems. Case studies illustrate the step-by-step approach to modelling both large and small-scale systems.
