CCNA: A Guide to Cisco Networking Fundamentals provides users with a basic understanding of networking technology, with a focus on network hardware. This book, the first in a two-book series, is written to complement the Cisco Networking Academy curriculum currently being implemented in high schools, career schools, and community colleges throughout the country. After reading the book and completing the exercises, the user will be prepared for Cisco Exam #640-507. Upon passing this exam, an individual achieves the first level of Cisco certification, Cisco Certified Network Associate, or CCNA.
