Melanie Quinn has always dreamed of being a writer, but her job at a busy New York City publishing company keeps her too busy to spend any time on her own work. Still, she hopes her upcoming visit back home to the family ranch will give her the time and space she needs. But when her father suddenly becomes ill, Melanie decides she is needed at home, and her short visit turns into more than she expected. She finds the inspiration to write again--and she also finds love. But though Kevin Fraser is a kind and honest man, Melanie is not sure she is ready to leave her city life to move back to her hometown.
