Students can experience the graceful moves of an ice skater in this G major solo written in 6/8 meter. Broken chords that pass from hand-to-hand create a swirl of sound. The damper pedal helps create the mood and aids in freedom of motion. A wide range of the keyboard is used with some hand crossings, making this piece a visual experience as well as an aural one.
