Her real name was Jean Milligan; she was born in in 1919 and passed away in 2004. She was a virtual unknown during her career and little is known about her personal life, but the one thing we do know is that you almost couldn't pick up an issue of Weird Tales from 1943 through the beginning of 1951 and not come across one of her stories.
