Horror is synonymous with any study of God. Those who find themselves in fear of Horror are also found in fear of God--and this is not the kind of fearful awe demonstrated throughout history by those who are in fact in deep love with God. Goethe writes that Horror is the best part of man but that we find Horror too expensive because it brings us close to God. HORROR & the CHRISTIAN delves into just about every aspect of what Horror means to the Believer, including the difference between Horror and Terror, a study of Sheol (Hell), and even a short story describing the terrifying result of Biblical misinterpretation. There's something here for everybody, Believer, atheist, agnostic, or otherwise. But, if you are a whitebread whitewashed pablum-sucking member of Christendom, you might just want to stick to the pop commentaries and leave the meat to the carnivores.
