The target audience for this writing is the common citizen. The citizen who constantly complains that, "Police don't do shit", "Police can't solve crimes", "Police don't know what they're doing", etc. its purpose is to enlighten them as to the various aspects that make the work of doing police work so difficult.First of all, it is the one profession that is supposed to protect and serve all yet it seems that all that they are to protect and serve don't like them. The bad guys don't like them and the good guys don't like them. A citizen driving 25 miles per hour above the speed limit who is stopped by the police will complain that the officer shouldn't be stopping them, the officer should be out "chasing bad guys." Never mind the fact that they're putting themselves and others at serious risk of injury or death. Please understand that this no way to implicate that all officers are fit for this line of work. Just as there are good doctors and bad doctors, good teachers and bad teachers, good lawyers and bad lawyers there are good and bad officers.
