There is a lack of basic statistics and information on many aspects of juvenile crime in Australia. This volume attempts to make a contribution towards understanding youth crime by bringing together data from different sources and, without trying to interpret, offers readers different perspectives. The volume covers those issues which are raised most frequently, and particularly highlights differences across jurisdictions. There is a strong emphasis on statistical data.
