This text examines the past, present and future debates surrounding educational management, and argues that self-organization and micropolitics are essential to understanding organizational survival and development. It charts the development of education management through the two decades, taking a challenging and provocative view of current teacher training practice. The book argues for the empowerment of teachers, and for the reassessment of current education management.
