Darkone Urgli, known as the Storyteller of the Poor, must travel back to his hometown, with his newfound friend Gord Irane, to save his family and all those imprisoned under King Vlakin's rule. Meanwhile, the King of King's Vlakin must balance his own court with riots and traitors, as well as manage the realm full of petty Kings and unrelenting Lords.
