After the completion of the 14-15 year old Girl's Softball Tournament, pitting the Eastside and Westside Crickets, everyone is leaving the field. Sofia and her Dad are talking with fans in the bleacher area. As Miss Emma finishes sharing her experience with Chalie Chalie, Jorge Porto, the announcer for the Championship Game and an announcer with the Cincinnati Reds, joins Miss Emma, Mayor Browne, Sofia and Brad. Jorge says, "I raised my hand when Sofia asked if anyone knew Chalie Chalie. I had a similar issue as Miss Emma, there was this guy he had been bothering me for over a year. One day he went too far, for fighting, I was punished. It was the first time I had ever really lost something that really meant something to me."When Jorge Porto was 16 years old, he and his dad were in a bad accident coming home from a football game. Since that day three months ago, his parents seemed to argue all the time. Jorge's mother could not forgive his dad; she felt she almost lost her son. Jorge was the announcer for the high school football team. As he tried to help a player improve his game, the player was offended and instigated a fight with Jorge. The fight cost Jorge his announcing job which meant the most to him.
