Author Description

Shortly after his marriage in May of 2013, poet E. J. Evans went on a two-week tour of Japan with his new wife and two friends. They were guided on this tour by Evans' shakuhachi mentor Ronnie Seldin. During this time they visited many beautiful places and met many wonderful people. This chapbook is a brief journal of this trip in the form of a sequence of daily prose poems, each day's poem being accompanied by photographs. It is a lyrical celebration, in words and images, of a time of adventure, beauty, and friendship.
