Hey Mom! It's Raining! is a coloring book that allows the reader to read a short children's story and then color its images. There is plenty of white space so that the colorist/reader can add their own ideas about the story. The colorist/reader can add dots, lines, shapes, symbols, letters, images, words or any design that they want. The colorist/reader chooses the colors and the coloring tools to use. Most of the images are simple in design; simple so that colorists and readers can relax. Some of the designs are a bit more complex. For Hey Mom! It's Raining! the best coloring tools to use are a combination of crayons and colored pencils. I Me Mine, the main character, loves weather, all kinds of weather, but he especially loves rain. One day his mom gave him a problem to solve about rain. I Me Mine tries several ideas before solving the problem. After solving the problem, to I Me Mine's surprise and delight, he and his mom go into the rain and play. They end their rainy day with a wish and a celebration.
