[...] The establishment of a long-term, well-resourced housing partnership, including all three orders of government, the private and non-profit sectors, and the community, is the best vehicle for the successful development of affordable housing. [...] The primary purpose of this literature review is to help in determining the need for and feasibility of developing a long-term community housing partnership for the City of Regina in order that the issue of affordable housing may be addressed. [...] While the focus of this project is the development of a long-term housing partnership for Regina, inclusion of information on best practices in terms of project-specific partnerships will be crucial for the knowledge base and success of the overall project. [...] A brief discussion of the role and mandate of the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), the Canadian Centre for Public-Private Partnerships in Housing (CCPPPH), as well as of the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation (SHC) is provided.
