Port plays an important role in economic development a region. The cargo throughput as an indicator of port performance and develop brings information to various parties involved in the business activities around the port. This study researches the cargo throughput in Rotterdam, Antwerp and Hamburg within Hamburg- Le Havre range. By reviewing the historical trends and forecasting cargo throughput in short term future, this study is aiming to illustrate the port development in post-crisis period.
