
The book The Economic Strategy Evolvement for the CPC to Realize Chinese Dream includes seven chapters. The Introduction states the background and significance of the research questions, the research methodology and the paper structure. Besides, it also introduces the flourishing, research objects, types and elements of the Economic Development Strategy science. The first chapter Carrying forward Dream, introduces the theoretical origin for the CPC to make economic development strategies. The relevant statements on economic development thoughts made by Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Joseph Stalin and Lenin, offer direct theoretical sources for the CPC to make economic development strategies since the foundation of PRC. The second chapter Looking for Dream, introduces the CPC's exploration of economic development strategies under the planned economy system (1953-1976). In this stage, there were both mistakes and progresses in the exploration, which laid a foundation for the following economic development and offer experiences and lessons for the major turning point of the CPC's economic development strategic thinking after reform and opening-up. The third chapter Interpreting Dream, introduces between 1977 and 1991, it returned to the strategy of making economic development the central task, which was a major turning point. In this stage, the development strategy objectives and guidelines made by CPC built the theoretical cornerstone for the proposition of the strategic thinking 'Chinese Dream'. The fourth chapter Pursuing Dream, introduces the rich economic development strategies oriented by sustainable development from 1992 to 2002. In this stage, the Party's economic development strategies get enriched and developed while carrying forward the previous thinking.
