Created entirely from a computer database, this full-size atlas researches, verifies and digitizes the longitude and latitude of every town, river, border and feature of the Earth's terrain. It contains numerous colour maps, using the latest computer techniques to produce clarity and accuracy. Included are political maps, the unique "terrascape" (TM) physical maps, and world maps of climate, environment, population and economics. The atlas has been brought fully up to date, and includes the latest names and borders in Eastern Europe and the former USSR.
