Denis MacKay is a Glasgow gangster who has evaded conviction for years despite the Strathclyde Police's best efforts. He is known as The Teflon Man. The book traces DI Tom Murray's attempt to convict MacKay. However, he uncovers several tentacles of crime in the process, including a mole in the police.
