This new textbook provides students with a basic understanding of the law of copyright, patents and designs, trademarks, passing-off, and confidentiality. After an introductory analysis of the concept of intellectual property, it provides an exposition of the ways in which intellectual property rights are acquired, infringed, and exploited.
