This is a textbook aimed at first-year undergraduates in economics who have taken "A" level mathematics, specifically those who are taking a course in mathematics for economists. The book provides material on partial differentiation, maximization, and matrices and determinants that may not have been covered in the "A" level course, and a brief revision of the remaining topics the student will need. The work also covers first-year macroeconomics and microeconomics using the basic core of mathematics.
