In the first story, a water sprite named Deb has tricked Rani into looking after a whole flock of rain clouds and he won't take them back unless Rani answers a riddle about Pixie Hollow's three greatest treasures. But she doesn't know what these treasures might be and meanwhile Pixie Hollow is getting very damp. In the second story Rani isn't sure she belongs with other fairies because she has no wings. Her search for a new home leads her into a lagoon where mermaids live. She doesn't quite fit in with the mermaids either, but maybe they will help her find out who her true fiends are.
