This is the second volume of 'Beijing Trilogy' authored by Feng Tang, recording the study and growth experience of fresh student Qiushui in the medical university. Two women are wrestling for the love of Quishui. One is his girlfriend and classmate who has been engrossed in mathematical formulas and wandering on the campus alley with him, while the other is his mature and charming sister-like lover he meets by accident. Qiushui grows up gradually when getting along with the two women. The book vividly presents Qiushui's eight years of university life with his buddies and concerns the description and discussion of present life, which appears incisive and humorous with a trace of wisdom. The linguistic features of Beijing dialect are fully presented in the book. The free and flamboyant style and a number of laughing plots reflect a kind of Feng Tang-type humor and slyness, which enjoy both high level and popularity.
