This is an inspiring story of a Baptist pastor whose life and ministry spanned much of the 20th century, witnessing the dramatic changes in American life brought about by world wars and continuous social, cultural and religious upheaval. From his early personal struggles with evolution and doubts about the Word, he emerged with the strong conviction that the Word of God was inerrant.
