Founded by the three Hungarian families, Kuzmak, Dilmac and Otrar, following World War I, The Jubilee! Carnival and Show traveled the East Coast of the United States until the Second World War.<br/>Uncle Kuzmak, the group's leader or voivode, had purchased property along the New River in West Virginia with money earned from traveling the East Coast after participating in the Columbian Exposition In Chicago.<br/>When World War II arrived, most carnie men joined the military, and the carnival stopped touring.<br/>Unfortunately, Uncle Kuzmak, who opened a munitions factory during the war on the West Coast, died in an accident at the plant. He had a son, but no one had ever seen or met him.<br/>When the war was over, many of those who survived began returning with their families with the hope that they could start touring again.
