A Dozen Years Have Elapsed Since The Publication Of The First Volume Of Our New Edition Of Hegel's Lectures On The Philosophy Of World History. This Volume Was Based On A 1995 Edition Of Hegel's Lecture Manuscripts By Walter Jaeschke, And A 1996 Edition Of The Philosophy Of World History Lectures Of 1822-23, As Transcribed By H. G. Hotho And K. G. J. Von Griesheim, And Edited By K. H. Ilting, K. Brehmer, And H. N. Seelmann. This First Volume Included Hegel's Lecture Manuscript Of The Introduction To The Lectures Of 1830-31. Our Intention All Along Has Been To Publish A Second Volume Containing The Transcription By Karl Hegel (the Philosopher's Son) Of The Lectures Of 1830-31. A Typescript By Jaeschke Of The Karl Hegel Transcription Existed Twelve Years Ago And Robert Brown Made A Draft Translation Of It-- Provided By Publisher.
