Bob Turner was an executive for over 40 years in the television business. His experiences spanned the heyday and dynamics of this ever-changing industry. Turner worked for two networks, a major TV advertiser, a cable network, an independent talk show producer and ran independent production and distribution companies.<br/><br/>Along the way Turner had a full family life, traveled the world, indulged his passion for history, archeology, theology, and politics. He ran for Congress and won a seat against a New York Democrat in a district that has been Democratic for 90 years. He also survived a number of near death experiences.
