Author Description

Whether tents, camp beds, foam weapons, food, drinks, costumes or armor - the present collection of essays is devoted to all the stuff related to the hobby before, during and after a larp (live action role-play). In seven articles, the authors show not only the theoretical potential of larp stuff as a research subject, but illustrate concrete examples, such as how objects or things function in larp. The essays should give new perspectives and insights and thereby inspire new ideas. Compiled and edited on the occasion of the 2015 MittelPunkt live-action role-playing conference, Germany.
