Product Description

[Korean Edition-This book is written in Korean]. The importance of the family, established by God, can never be emphasized enough. Yet the current rapid cultural change and plurality is shaking the family at its foundation, including the Korean American family. Suicides, gun violence, adultery, divorce, domestic violence, gambling, and drug abuse, as well as less dramatic issues, all demonstrate the need for the Korean American church to aim to prevent and heal problems in the family. This paper studies family ministry programs through academic materials and research, with the Open Door Presbyterian Church as its practical context.

Review

Family Ministry Programs for Korean American Families: With Special Reference to Open Door Presbyterian Church Dissertation Submitted to the Faculty of the School of Theology, Fuller Theological Seminary (Doctor of Ministry, March 2018)

About the Author

Sungho Kim is a Korean American Pastor.
