Skills Workbook for Law Students is intended for law students to use throughout their law studies. At first year level, the emphasis may be on acquiring skills in finding, reading and applying court cases, legislation and journal articles, while senior students may be called on to do more difficult legal research and draft documents such as legal memoranda, research assignments and a comprehensive final year research essay. This workbook also includes some guidelines on how to responsibly and ethically use Generative Artificial Intelligence. The Workbook contains many exercises to facilitate active learning.
