Author Description

It was nineteen forty-two and the war was raging in Europe. Philip Greenwood is on his way home on leave from the navy to marry his sweetheart, Peggy. She is eagerly anticipating his arrival but a stray bomb shatters both their lives and hopes. She is left desperate and pregnant until the family doctor comes up with the solution and she can start to build a life for herself and her son.
