
The condemnation of ancient druidism by certain writers moved Sir John Daniel to a closer study of the subject. He came to the conclusion that much of their censure was due to prejudice and misunderstanding, and he wrote this book in the hope of pointing out a more favorable interpretation of what our Cymric ancestors believed and taught.
