This text is designed to help students meet the challenges set by what must be one of the most dynamic and contrversial subjects in the law curriculum. During their course, students have to deal with extensive case law and a series of statutes containing provisions which are often complex; at at the same time, they must develop an awareness of the social and political context in which employment law operates.
